Certification Training Class Schedule & Description

Group Fitness Instructor:
Unlike a weekend or one-day certification this class is designed to get you job ready in the teaching part of the job. A minimum of 12-16 weeks course, moving at your own pace learning how to cue and call exercises, proper rhythm & timing, proper moves and transitions, safety concerns, and motivation techniques. You will be certified with capabilities of teaching a cardio classes, high and or low impact, step class and body shaping.

Schedule: Choose 3 days from the following

M/W/F 8:45am-12:30pm or 5:45pm-9:30pm
Sat. 12:30pm-3pm


Yoga Fitness Instructor:
A 16-week program teaching you how to flow and sequence the asanas (poses), while learning the benefits of each pose, with safety and modification of each, and also educating you in the history and philosophy of yoga. What makes this course so unique is the smooth almost rhythmic transition and flow of the asanas in a non-intimidating environment.

Schedule: 2days per week

T/TH 10:15am-1:30pm


Personal Trainer:
Unlike a weekend or one day certifications this is a 14-week course combining the practical and theoretical skills needed to do the job correctly. You will learn anatomy & physiology, Kinesiology and Body mechanics, along with proper exercise set-up, reps and sets variations, body assessments, while also including business marketing, to learn how to make Personal Training your own business. Our main focus on this course is putting the practical application with the academic knowledge; upon completion you will be skilled and knowledgeable enough to make fitness a career, making up to $65.00 per hour, as opposed to working at your local health club making a few dollars an hour.

Schedule: 3 days per week

T/TH 8:45am-12:30pm or 5:45pm-9:30pm
Sat. 10:15am-12:30pm


Ballroom Fitness Instructor:
This is a 16-week program consisting of two levels of instruction to learn four dances, tango, swing, salsa, & waltz. Learning basic dance moves for beginners, then building the basic steps for intermediate to advanced clients, while focusing on technique, timing, showmanship, & instructor training skills. For someone who wants to combine their love for dance, and would like have a job that makes up to $65.00 per hour.

Schedule: 2 days per week


Cardio-Kick box Instructor:
A 4-hour certification teaching you proper punch and kick movements, and developing them into a fun, safe and effective group class. This course requires a pre-requisite of Group fitness Instructor training, to learn proper cueing and calling and instructor leadership and teaching capabilities. You will be certified with the capabilities of teaching a fun safe and effective cardio kick class, with strong intensity and easy to learn choreography.

Schedule: Weekend class 4-hours


Water Aerobics Instructor:
An invigorating 4 hour certification, taught in a pool, teaching you the difference of group classes on land vs. water. Learn how to design a group exercise class in the water with all components of cardio training, resistance training, and safe stretches, while also incorporating water props. This course requires a pre-requisite of group fitness instructor training, to learn proper cueing and calling and instructor leadership and teaching capabilities. You will be certified and capable of teaching a fun a safe workout in or out of the water.

Schedule: Weekend Class 4-hours


Cardio Strip-Aerobic Certification:
A fun new format taught in a 3 hour workshop to learn how to incorporate cardio strip dance moves and group exercise to create a fun and sexy class. Learning sexy dance moves including but not limited to 6 different hip rolls to create a sexy cardio routine, a lap dance chair routine, and tantalizing floor work. This certification will include a full routine and music along with great music.

Schedule: Weekend class 4-hours


Spin Cycle Fitness Certification:
A 10 hour program designed to teach you proper techniques to design a fun and safe workout on the indoor exercise bikes. Learn proper hand positions, different riding positions, proper bike set-up, coaching, class design and music design. If rhythm and timing is not your first choice of group exercise this certification is for you.

Sunday 1-6pm
